About Us

Throughout the Cedar Valley and Northeast Iowa, locally-owned 2 Guys Interior Focus is known as the premier provider of flooring for residential, new home, and commercial applications. 2 Guys Home Interiors was originally established in 1973. Lisa Liebau who has a interior design degree purchased the business in 1999. Jon Liebau joined the business in 2011 along with their sons. Clayton Liebau who has been installing floor coverings since 2001 and Cody Liebau who has been with the company since 2017. They all became partners in this family owned business and updated the name to 2 Guys Interior Focus to mark the occasion of the change in ownership. Tara Bergmann came aboard joining the design team in March of 2015 after graduating from Iowa State’s Interior Design program.

In February of 2016, 2 Guys Interior Focus moved to our new location at 1200 10th Avenue in Southwest Waverly Iowa. We’re excited about our expanded space that showcases for our customers all the new products we offer.

Lisa Liebau

I feel great design should be a reflection of my client’s personal styles. The space not only needs to look great, but it needs to be a comfortable yet functional space.

To me, interior design means figuring out what my clients want, what they need and then meeting their expectations. I want this process for my clients to be fun and stressfree. My unique sense of style brings a fresh approach to any project. With a keen eye for putting colors and textures together, I am able to reach a perfect balance in the final design. With over 30 years of design experience and knowledge of all types of flooring and window coverings. I love creating spaces that are practical and comfortable yet stylish and sophisticated, perfect for today’s families.

Tara Bergmann

To me, great design realizes the potential of any space, whether it may be a remodel or a new home.

I help turn customers’ interior design inspirations and dreams into a reality. By balancing colors and textures, together, we can create a space that reflects your personality and match what best suits your needs. I graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Ever since I was young, I have had a passion for designing and the arts in general. As a designer, I take each project personally as if the client were my own family member or close friend. I always aim to create beautiful spaces that best fit the customers’ expectations by accommodating to a variety of budgets, styles, and requirements.

8+ years’ interior design experience in the flooring sector, commercially and residentially.
